Phidias and its predecessors have been in development for nearly two decades by Dr. Raymond McCall and his team at the University of Colorado Boulder, College of Architecture and Planning. Phidias has been funded through NASA, Colorado Advanced Software Institute, Johnson Engineering Corporation, and the CU College of Architecture and Planning (formerly known as the College of Environmental Design).
