No surprises here, MC Escher is one of my favorite artists, as he is with most of the rest of the world. Many people liken my artwork to that of Escher, but I definately don't. Escher's work is extremely precise, there are no 'happy accidents' which are so common in my loose penwork. The piece below is by far my favorite, an excellent representation of a quite complex and tricky idea.

The best Escher book I've found (and there are soo many of them) is "The World of M.C. Escher" published by Abradale Press. Don't let the cover fool you, it is the most complete, including many images and studies I've never seen anywhere else.
