Giovanni Piranesi is one of my favorite artists. He is surely one of the most skillful renderers of architectural form ever. Which wouldn't be so exciting if he didn't then use his talent to create some of the most breathtaking and absurdly scaled scenes ever seen.

so instead I recommend the book "Piranesi: The Imaginary Views" published by Harmony Books
